Any other Board Monitored LVN having trouble finding a job?

I don't know where you live and each state has it's own rules. Basically they relate random drug tests.counseling. I work in long term care and have worked with a few �resticted lisence� nurses. They are unable to touch a medication cart. That does make it hard to work as a nurse. There are jobs available such as treatment nurse. Also jobs in. QA. Long term care also require state and federal chart review called MDS. There is no involvement with a drug cart. You can check out MDS classes online. I am unable to work as a floor nurse due to an injury but I got myself certified as MDS coordinator and where I live there many jobs for this . Check out career builder for your area. Many LTC facilities also have admission nurses. You might try to get a prn jod doing admissions to work on getting your rep back. Congrats on getting your license back. Now network with friends and child calls to LTC facilities since they use the most LVNS. May you get a job soon.
