Dallas or Houston for newly grad LVN Nurse?

once i get my license, i will move either dallas or houston (maybe austin but im already from san antonio i want something a little bit far from my family and friends for a while!!!) where is better in terms of crimes, traffic, school district for kids. what part of dallas or houston. I like arlington or plano addison area maybe. And cypress/katy in Houston.
