Can a LPN from Canada work an an RN in California?
No. An LPN from Canada would not be the equivalent of an RN in California.It is true that an Associates Degree in the US is only 2 years but that doesn't mean it is equal to our LPN schooling.In order to qualify to write the NCLEX ( the US nursing exam) you would need to have completed an RN program.
