What does it mean when your guy said give it time?

i think he does not like to be pressured this time as he is still trying to focus on the nclex exam he is about to take , so many things going on with his life and now is not the right time to bring up such topic as to add up to his already stressful life..have a little patience and be considerate with his situation.
