Does he like me? As more than a friend?

My (now ex) bf broke up with me about two weeks ago. We were dating for a year and ten months. It's okay though cause I realized that my ex does not want to be with me at this moment and I decided that it would be best to move on. Anyway, prior to the break up (a few months to be exact), I started talking to this guy my ex used to be friends with. Before my ex broke up with me, the guy and I started hanging out and we became good friends (after the break up). Now, I noticed that he's become a little flirtacious. He pokes me a lot cause we initiated a real life poke war. It used to be a Facebook poke war. When I arrive at the park where we usually hang out on weekends, he always sits next to me or near me. He even engages in small talk with me. He admitted that he checks me out and that I'm cute. One time he called me his sexy nurse (cause I'm studying to be an LVN). My question is does he like me? As more than a friend? Does these signs mean that he likes me and wants to take this further? Input would be nice.
