Can I still get into a nursing program (RN or LVN) if I failed a college course? HELP!!!?

I failed my math class...with a D, and now I know I'm going to have to retake it.. Please help me and be honest and tell me if there is a possibility because I'm really freaking out!! and terrified for my future..I feel like I'll be a hobo when i grow up now..because of ONE class, and its math :{ I really really want to get in that program. Oh, and I just started college as a freshman-straight out of highschool. Additional Info: I have 2 A's and one B. All classes are pre-reqs for nursing. Please please help mee:[ is my future dream broken? :{{{{
