Do lvns work at home health care?

since most hospitals don't hire lvns not like i wanna work in hospital area do they work in home health care area? do they hire lvns? do they have better chances working in there and how about clinics i don't want to waste my life in lvn college if i won't get hired. should i start volunteering now if that will look good on my resume?
