Stay at job or pay 30,000 for an LVN program that will pay me the same money as my current job?

the LVN program will take about a year and cost 30,000 . I probably will have to quit my job in order to focus on the program (or not ) I eventually want to get a bachelor's in Registered Nursing but that will be in about 6 years (I have to take remedial math classes AND THEN the pre-requisits and General education--long list ahead of me) my current job pays as almost as much as what my county would pay for an LVN. I was wondering if me being an LVN would really give me experience in nursing and get me an RN job fast. what do YOU think. thanks =]
