Are there jobs in Los Angeles for new grad LVNs?

I got my license late last year, and haven't been able to find work. Every place I look at is either not hiring or wants someone with prior experience which, as a new grad, I don't have. From what I've read online, a lot of people, even many with experience, are having difficulty finding work. I'm almost tempted to work at a non-nursing job to make money so I can go to an LVN to RN bridge program. I'm tired of looking at places that don't want to hire a new grad. Does anyone know of places that are hiring new grads? I kept hearing about nursing shortages, but it doesn't seem to be that way for LVNs. I should've just stayed on the waitlist for an RN program instead of doing LVN first...
