Am I wasting my time with this boyfriend?

Don't judge me for saying he doesn't have all the credentials I would usually look for; car, job, money, clothes!..... But he is gorgeous and makes me laugh and we have a great time together. It started off as a bit of fun and I never saw it going anywhere but somehow I've ended up in a r'ship. I am a little embarrassed when some of my friends ask what he does. I don't know if I'm wasting both of our time. I'm happy at the moment but not sure if I see a future. (we're both 24)
